Citizenship

Good citizenship is our first requirement for graduation. The goal is to make citizenship more meaningful to the student and to carry out our obligation to our school and community.Students earning an “E” grade in citizenship at the end of each semester from three or more teachers will have their names placed on the excellent citizenship list, and a composite citizenship grade of “E” will be placed on the permanent transcript. Graduation requirements include six (6) semesters or more of composite Satisfactory or Excellent citizenship.

Students earning a “U” grade at the end of the semester from three or more teachers will result in a “U” grade placed on the permanent transcript. A second semester of unsatisfactory citizenship will result in the student being placed on probation. A third semester will result in an adjustment transfer to another school.
